Homeownership, one thermostat at a time

Installed an ecobee smart thermostat this week. Now I know what a C-wire is, that my furnace has a control board, and that HVAC is a whole system with parts that break in expensive ways. I didn’t plan on learning any of it, but there’s something satisfying about fixing your own house and understanding a little more each time.
